At bellobella, we prescribe compounded versions of brand name weight loss drugs. All compounded medications are third party tested to ensure safety and effectiveness prior to being shipped via courier to your door. Besides the much lower price, an advantage of using compounded medication is that you can start out more slowly to minimize side effects. Also, the supply is consistent which has not been the case with shortages of brand name versions.
Candidates for GLP-1 therapy have a BMI of 30 or higher, or have a BMI of at least 27 and have a weight related illness such as sleep apnea, type 2 diabetes, high cholesterol, or high blood pressure.
In order to receive an exception to the FDA ruling, patients must be prescribed customized dosages not readily available by the brand name versions, or have diagnoses that require additional therapies to be combined with this medication.
